THE PROBLEM

It started with Gucci — our Yorkie, and the reason Pawse exists today.

We noticed the same thing thousands of dog parents notice but never talk about: the pacing before meals, the whining, the bolting down food so fast it comes right back up, the anxiety that turns feeding time into the most stressful part of the day — for them and for us.

We tried slow feeders. We tried puzzle toys. We tried expensive training. Nothing worked the way it should. Everything on the market was either designed to frustrate dogs into eating slower or so flimsy it became another chewed-up toy on the floor. No one was actually solving the problem. No one was asking: what if mealtime could be the calmest part of their day instead of the worst?

THE BREAKTHROUGH
